What's the difference between an appetiser and an aperitif?
You have them before eating, but an appetiser is food, and an aperitif is an alcoholic drink.

What's the difference between puff pastry, and rough puff pastry?
To make puff pastry you layer butter into shortcrust pastry, fold, roll and chill repeatedly.
To make rough puff pastry you do the same method as normal puff pastry, except you only roll it once.
Rough puff pastry doesn't rise as much as puff pastry and has a rougher texture.
How do I reduce a liquid?
Heat your liquid in a saucepan over a medium heat, and bring to a boil. Stir liquid whilst it boils, but do not cover it with a lid.. The larger the base of your pan and the thinner the metal, the quicker your mixture will reduce. Store in an airtight container in the freezer and heat on the hob before using.
